Seramat is a flexible instrument both for the variety of tests and for the analytical techniques which can be performed.

Thanks to its feature, it is possible to adopt the international reference methods for each of the different tests, instead of performing them all with the same analytical method.

  • A wide range of viruses (pneumotropic, neurotropic, coxsackie and others) are executed with a modified complement fixation test with kinetic reading and using stabilized red blood cells.

  • Febrile antigens : determination of the antibody titre by direct bacterial agglutination (Widal-Wright method): Brucella, Salmonella typhi (antigen O-H) Salmonella Paratyphi (antigen O-H), Salmonella paratyphi A (total antigen)
