DIESSE Diagnostica Senese announces the publication of its first Sustainability Report
Monday 26 September 2022Siena, 26 September 2022 - DIESSE, a company with over 40 years of experience in the world of In-vitro diagnostics, is pleased to announce the publication of its first Sustainability Report for the year 2021.
The document describes DIESSE's projects and progress in relation to environmental, economic, and social issues, along with the consequent impacts on the well-being of people, the environment, and the community. It also identifies new challenges and targets in the areas for improvement, while considering all the identified stakeholders.
The publication was made after DIESSE’s transformation into a Benefit Company in July 2022.
In the context of its Corporate Social Responsibility, the transformation into a Benefit Company and the ESG reporting are accompanied by the building of the DIESSE BIOTECH CAMPUS, as well as several initiatives designed to improve employee's well-being and the organization of initiatives supporting charity organization.
DIESS’s corporate commitment continues in 2022 with a focus on the 5 objectives from the UN 2030 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) identified by DIESSE in its sustainability path: Goal n3 good health and well-being, Goal n8 Decent work and economic growth, Goal n12 Responsible consumption and production, Goal n13 Climate action, and Goal n16 Peace, justice and strong institutions.
