DIESSE has been part of the prestigious portfolio of companies managed by ArchiMed, Europe’s first independent private equity fund specialised in healthcare, since 2019.

In compliance with the provisions contained in the Legislative Decree 8/06/2001, n231, (containing the “Discipline of the administrative liability of legal persons and companies”) DIESSE identified the corporate areas most at risk through the mapping of activities and processes. Subsequentially, the company prepared the Organisation, Management and Control Model pursuant to Legislative Decree no 231/2001, which contains the Code of Ethics, the System of Sanctions and related annexes.

The model was approved by the Board of Directors on 16/06/2020. On that date, the Supervisory Body was also appointed, for a duration of 3 years. The Supervisory Body consists of two professionals, business consultants and experts in Legislative Decree 231.
DIESSE was admitted to the Elite project of Borsa Italiana, the Italian stock exchange, on November 3, 2015. The company obtained the Elite certificate on May 3, 2017.

Quality

DIESSE has been operating for many years in accordance with leading standards for quality management systems, ensuring traceability, transparency, highest quality of its processes, products and services and working on continuous improvement.

The Company is certified in accordance with UNI EN ISO 9001: 2015 and EN ISO 13485: 2016, also in compliance with the MDSAP (Medical Device Single Audit Program) program.
As part of this program, DIESSE has obtained, starting from 2019, the MDSAP certification in accordance with the Regulations of all 5 countries participating to the program: the United States, Canada, Australia, Japan and Brazil.

All products are CE marked in accordance with the European Directive 98/79/EC concerning In Vitro Diagnostic Medical Devices and the relative applicable harmonized standards.

In June 2022, DIESSE obtained its first certificate "EU Quality Management System Certificate (IVDR)", issued by the Notified Body TÜV SÜD Product Service GmbH in accordance with the European Regulation 2017/746 concerning in Vitro Diagnostic Medical Devices.

Corporate Social Responsibility

DIESSE is committed to conducting, executing, and monitoring its activities in an ethical, socially responsible and transparent way to safeguard the respect and preservation of the environment, as well as cultural and social heritage, in order to protect this generation and those to come.

The principles that DIESSE intends to follow are described in the Corporate Social Responsibility policy and are in agreement with its Code of Ethics and its Organization, Management and Control Model (in compliance with the Italian Legislative Decree n. 231/2001, Italian law on crime-risk prevention within business activities).

Transparency

DIESSE, has decided to improve the relations with the healthcare professionals with whom it cooperates and has therefore modified its Code of Ethics. The improvement consists of TRANSPARENCY: publication of money transfers, introduced in order to guarantee integrity in relation with medical-health operators and stakeholders.

Starting from 1st January 2021, with reference to the data related to the year 2020, DIESSE publish, on annual basis, the money transfers directly or indirectly to Healthcare Professionals, Healthcare Organizations and Third Parties, within the first six months of the next year.

The data are published on the company website, in compliance with the regulation on the protection of personal data and will be available for a period of at least three years from the date of publication.
DIESSE is thus preparing to guarantee the "right to know" of its own relationships of economic importance with professionals in the health sector and health organizations, also in compliance with the principles and behaviors of its own Code of Ethics.

Whistleblowing

DIESSE ha effettuato l’adeguamento al Decreto Legislativo 10 marzo 2023, n. 24 sulla gestione delle segnalazioni degli illeciti.

Il D. Lgs. 24/2023 (recepimento della direttiva (UE) 2019/1937) riguarda la protezione delle persone che segnalano violazioni di disposizioni normative nazionali o dell’Unione europea (c.d. direttiva whistleblowing) di cui si è venuti a conoscenza nel contesto lavorativo, lesive dell’interesse pubblico o dell’integrità dell’amministrazione pubblica o dell’ente privato.

A partire dal 17/12/2023, DIESSE rende disponibile lo specifico canale di segnalazione (Piattaforma Whistleblowing).
